It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a PS3 game. I don’t buy a lot of them, so that should explain why. I just got done playing Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 all the way through to 100%, and figured it’d be a good time to review the game. Continue reading Lego Harry Potter, Years 1-4

Wii Fit Plus: Additional Fun for Wii Fit
Okay – in the interest of full disclosure, I don’t do Wii Fit as much as I used to. If at all possible, I’m doing long walks to get my exercise instead of hopping on the Wii. The Wii is lucky to see me turn it on once or twice a week at this point. However, I found Wii Fit Plus available on NewEgg without a balance board for $20. It’s easily worth that. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time
At the end of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Clank is kidnapped by the mysterious Zoni, a race of “time beings” that had helped Ratchet and Clank through their adventures in R&CF:ToD. A small (four hours of gameplay) sequel was released on the Playstation Network called R&CF: Quest for Booty (not yet reviewed). In R&CF:QfB, you are introduced into some new game play concepts (which carry over to the full sequel). Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time, though, is the full sequel to R&CF:ToD. Continue reading Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time
Dance Dance Revolution: Disney Grooves “Groove Mode”
I hadn’t had much of a chance to get out onto my bike and get my cardio exercise. The Wii Fit cardio games weren’t keeping my interest and I wanted to try something new. So, I rolled out the DDR mats and started to play through Groove Mode in Disney DDR. Continue reading Dance Dance Revolution: Disney Grooves “Groove Mode”
Wii Fit
Okay, so I talked about this a lot when I talked about the Wii, but here’s a full blown review of the “game” Wii Fit for the Nintendo Wii game console. If you’ve read the previous article, a lot of this will sound familiar. Continue reading Wii Fit
Unlocking Miis in DDR: Disney Grooves
This blog entry addresses a certain lack of clear information about how to unlock the ability to use a Mii as a character in “Dance Dance Revolution: Disney Grooves”. Much Googling gave hints, but no clear answer as to where the ability is unlocked. Continue reading Unlocking Miis in DDR: Disney Grooves
The Wii
I’m not a console gamer. I don’t own all of those available and don’t follow console development beyond what I read in passing online or pull in through osmosis. Soon, though, I will be procuring a Wii. Continue reading The Wii
LittleBigPlanet (Level Creation)
Okay, so I haven’t published one yet but boyo let me tell you I know a thing or two about this now. Continue reading LittleBigPlanet (Level Creation)
LittleBigPlanet – Early Impressions (and notes)
Very fun game. If you’re obsessed with getting 100% on each level, though, find someone to play with. Continue reading LittleBigPlanet – Early Impressions (and notes)
Lego Batman
This was really fun!
You get to play both the good guys and the bad guys in this. Again, getting 100% completed was not as hard as Star Wars, but doable. Chronologically, it would have made more sense for the player to be required to do the villain missions first (most of them take place “time wise” before Batman shows up and ruins the villain’s fun).
